Livestock Feed Pellets Making Plant for Sale
Mini Livestock Feeding Plants Get High Praise
The benefits of livestock pellet feeding machines have been gaining popularity due to the increased use of artificial compound feeds in the animal husbandry sector. The growth of the animal husbandry sector has been aided by pellet feed machines. Farmers are increasingly purchasing pellet feed machines and starting to make their own feed pellets.
Wide Applications
It is ideal for small rural breeding farms and professional households. Small livestock feed plants can process a variety of raw materials, including straw, corn, soybean meal and other weeds from various crop stalks. Materials with low adhesion rates and hard to shape are pelletized.
There are 4 major types of Livestock Feed Pellets

There are four main types of pellets: complete feed, mix feed, concentrated feed, and pure foragegrass feed pellets. We’ll tell you more about them.
Complete Feed Pellets
It contains all the essential elements that livestock needs. It contains proteins such as fish, beans, oil cake, and so on. ), energy (corn bran, wheat bran, etc. ), coarse (corn stalks, wheat straw, pasture, and so on. ), and other additives (vitamins minerals, bone powders, salts or microelements). This feed provides all the nutrition needed for healthy growth. This mini-cattle feed plant is affordable and portable for those with limited funds to start their own feed production business.
Premix Feed Pellets
It can also be called feed additive premix, and is used as feed additions. The feed pellet can be further divided into three types: nutritive additives (vitamins and a trace of elements, amino acid, etc. Drug additives (a preventive measure to protect against diseases and promote long, healthy lives), and general additives such as incense enhancer, mildew proof, etc. Premix feed pellet should be used in a ratio of 1 to 6 percent daily, depending on the animal species and growth stage. This kind of pellet is only made in factories. However, you can start your own factory with the right assistance.
Concentrated Feed Pellets
It is similar to complete feed with energy and protein, minerals, and additives. This feed is used mainly as a supplement to the basic coarse feed, silage and green fodder for herbivorous livestock animals like sheep, rabbits and cattle. Supplement feed is a way to provide all the nutrients animals lack by not eating grass or silage feed.
Pure Forage (Grass), Feed Pellets
It is composed of forage grass, grain straw and alfalfa. These are the best form of grass and can be made quickly and stored easily.

Here is the scientifically required process for making livestock feed pellets. Some stages are not necessary, so they can be skipped in real livestock feed production lines.
1. Receiving and storing raw materials
There are many types of starting material that can be used to make livestock feed. These include stem materials such as maize straw, grains, corns, and cakes like cottonseed meal, among others. Because these materials are different in nature, they have different storage requirements. A large amount of grains, for example, will require special storage. Additives and cakes also need special storage to avoid contamination. These storage facilities are where the raw materials will go to the next stage of the production line.
2. Cleaning the feed materials
Many of the raw materials for livestock feed are from crops and must be cleaned. Because of this, the quality and purity of the feed will be affected by foreign substances. The dirt can also cause damage to the equipment and expose the operator to injury. This can lead to downtimes and disruption of production. Cleaning must be done before this happens. The animal feed pellet plant uses a magnet and screening equipment to remove impurities. The magnetic separator removes magnetic (steels or iron) impurities while the screen removes large impurities such as stones.
3. Crushing
The process of crushing raw materials depends on the feed type and the requirements for fineness. The type of crushed materials determines whether it will be one stage, two or continuous. You can also crush according to a batching combination form. This means that it could be either first crushing followed by batching or first crushing and then batching.
4. Feed Proportioning Batching process
There are currently three options: manual batching, one warehouse-one-scale batching, and volumetric batching. Manual batching is used for small- to medium-scale production of feed pellets, ranging from 1-15 tons an hour. Manual batching is used to weigh and pour feed materials into the mixer. Workers perform all of the measuring and rationing processes. This reduces the equipment needed and the production cost. However, accurate measurements are available and it is easy to make adjustments.
5. Feed mixing
You can achieve this by either continuous mixing or batch mix. Batch mixing is where all feed components are mixed according to the formula. Then, the mixture is continuously mixed in a batch mixer. Batch mixing is a popular method of replacing feed rations with less intermixing among succeeding batches. This method requires an automated control because of its complicated starting and stopping operations.
Mixing continues on the other side as additional feed components are added. As new streams continuously enter the mixer, this creates uniform flow. This process is beneficial because it allows for continuous mixing and uniform flow with the feed granulation. Intermixing occurs when a new formula enters the mixing line.
6. Feed Pelletizing
Two types of feed pellet plants exist, each using a different type of pellet machine. The flat die feed pellet machine can be used in small feed pellet plants (600-1000kgslh), while the ring die feed mill can be used in medium feed pellet lines (1-15 tonslhr).
7. Pellets cooling
Pelletizing results in high temperatures and humidity. Further pressing pellets raises the temperature and moisture to around 80an and 17%, respectively. and 14% respectively.
8. Feed pellets crumbling
This is important when processing feed pellets to young ruminants. Normal feed pellets come in medium sizes, which allows for the reduction of smaller sizes if necessary. To save power and improve quality, the initial size is used before high production.
9. Pellet Sievingl Screening
This can be achieved with a feed pellet cooler in small plants. However, for medium- to large-scale feed pellet mills that incorporate crumbling in their process, a pellet sieving machine is required.
This machine separates the powdery feed pellets and properly sized pellets. The uniformly sized pellets are then taken to packaging, while the powdery feed pellets are returned to the production line.
10. Feed pellets packaging
This is the final step in the production of feed pellets. The packaging of feed pellets is determined by their end use, composition, weight, and other criteria.
A Mini Livestock Feeding Plant is a great investment.
For Animals
With society’s rapid growth, many farmers are choosing to feed their livestock small and sustainably. Why? Why?
For Animal Farmers
Small livestock feed plants can increase the feed intake and growth of livestock farmers. This not only reduces food costs but also saves labor costs and increases the income of breeders.
Mini livestock feed machinery is a great help to farmers get rich. It makes high profits for small and medium aquaculture, feed processing plants for sale, small poultry farms, individual breeding users, and small and medium-sized farm.
